Tina’s Ethiopian Restaurant

Tina owned and operated Tina’s Ethiopian Restaurant since too many years. Dedicating 100% to her restaurant, it was happily her second home. She cooked and served food to her guests personally. This attentive service and outstanding food has touched the hearts of thousands, many of which still keep in touch today.

In those years, Tina received many awards: New Times – Best of Phoenix in 2005, Dean’s List (CBS Channel 5), Top 10 Cleanest Restaurants in the Valley, as well as articles in The Arizona Republic and various websites and food blogs.

After several years of hard work, she decided to take a break and take care of her two children, one of which is now at university. In 2011, Tina came back, once again, opening a new location in Gilbert, where she continued to offer the same great food and attention. She loved every moment of it. Serving the community was some of the best times of her life. Fast forward to 2017, she is now getting back to doing what she loves to do the most: sharing the joy and flavors of her native Ethiopian culture and making friends.
